How You Can Get Involved

There are many different ways to get involved with the mentor program, depending on your skills, time, and talents. You can:

We Need Your Help

The Fighting Back Mentor Program is a program of the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, a non-profit organization. All donations to the Mentor Program are tax deductible.

Although our mentors are volunteers, the program could not operate without the mentor program staff, who recruit our mentors, screen them, train them, continue to provide support and case management for each match, and organize group events and activities.

If you don't have the time to become a mentor, you can still help support a child who needs one by making a donation to the program. Please help us sustain our efforts so that we can continue to make a difference in the lives of children who so desperately need our help.

How to Donate

You can make a donation for any amount by mailing a check made out to the Fighting Back Mentoring Program to:

The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse

P.O. Box 28
Santa Barbara, CA 93102

Alternatively, you can donate securely online by credit card or bank account, or via PayPal, using the button below. When asked to designate your gift, select "Fighting Back Mentor Program."
