Offers FREE tutoring and peer advising at all public school locations in the Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, and Goleta schools. They also provide services at Rincon High School, Bishop Diego Garcia High School, Twelve35 Teen Center, and local Boys & Girls Clubs. College students from UCSB, SBCC, and Westmont College are hired to serve as tutor peer advisors, assisting students with mastering course material in preparation for entry into post-secondary education. Tutors also work alongside teachers in their classrooms to motivate students to excel and reinforce student understanding of subject material.

Offers a tutoring/mentoring program “Putting it Back” in collaboration with Caesar Chavez, Cleveland, and Franklin Elementary Schools. Quality tutors are recruited primarily from Westmont, University of California, Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara City College and provide services to minority and at-risk students who are referred to the program by their teachers. Students are evaluated throughout the program by EYC Program Coordinator and School Administrators.
